The programme is very teacher and child friendly. There is no extra planning for staff and the children enjoy the sessions. There is a mixture of teacher input, shared learning and independent activities. There are lots of options to support where needed. The sequence of learning cleverly builds on number facts, supporting with recall. The retrieval questions allow previous facts to be covered regularly, again helping with retention.

Evidence Me is a very useful tool in the Early Years and the parents have loved the addition of it this year. There are a few things that would make it more useful as a teacher, for example, parents being able to like an observation (so we can see their engagement), Teachers being able to like a comment from parents, being able to make photo collages on the app or increase the number of photos that can be uploaded on the app. It would also help if you could enlarge the photos then scroll through them rather than having to minimize them to then click on the next picture.

Mostly great. Having to access with a qr code through the camera gave us a couple hiccups. A wide range of activities available to students! Students enjoyed their experience using the app.

I spent years trying to find a quality early childhood math app. Many were poorly designed creating a frustrating experience or were simply a digital take on old school worksheets. Funexpected is designed with both the math concepts and the user experience (young children) first. The fact that it is an app and not a webpage creates a safe-space with no accidentally going on the wrong tab, etc.
