What is The EverLearner?
The EverLearner is an online teaching and learning platform built specifically for Physical Education and Sport, giving students on-demand access to expert video-based lessons, quizzing, and progress analytics aligned to GCSE, A-Level, BTEC, CTEC, CNAT, NCFE, and IBDP SEHS specifications. It's designed to sit alongside classroom teaching, supporting homework, revision, flipped learning, and blended lessons, while teachers use built-in dashboards to see exactly what each student understands and target intervention accordingly.
The platform was founded by PE teacher James Simms in 2012, who began recording his own lessons to give students repeatable access to expert, exam-board-specific PE theory teaching, a gap he found in generic training and revision resources. It is now used by more than 1,200 schools, colleges, and academy trusts worldwide, supporting hundreds of thousands of students daily.
The platform also includes ExamSimulator, an online exam-setting, marking, and analytics feature that lets teachers build exam-board-aligned assessments and gives students realistic, structured exam practice, saving departments significant marking time. The EverLearner also offers a separate product, the PE Teacher Academy, a bite-sized CPD platform for PE staff at every career stage, fully mapped to curriculum content and licensed per department .
Schools report a direct correlation between platform engagement at Key Stage 4 and improved theory-exam performance, with subscribing Heads of PE citing it as a contributing factor in sustained KS4 and KS5 results improvement. The EverLearner is BESA-accredited and has supported schools continuously since 2014, including offering free access during the 2020 lockdown.

Every subscribing school is assigned a dedicated account manager from The EverLearner's team who supports them throughout the academic year, not just at onboarding. New departments receive setup and onboarding support to get staff and students access quickly, including guidance on rolling the platform out across a department or multi-academy trust . Teachers can reach the team directly via email, live chat or phone, for technical queries, content questions, or account issues.
Beyond reactive support, The EverLearner runs proactive engagement throughout the year: schools can access guidance on how to embed the platform into homework, revision, and flipped-learning routines, and the PE Teacher Academy provides ongoing CPD content so staff continue developing their own subject knowledge alongside using the platform with students.

The EverLearner is priced per department, offered across three tiers, Bronze, Silver, and Gold, with each tier scalable in small, medium, or unlimited size depending on department needs. All tiers include the core learning and revision platform: exam-board-specific tutorials, quizzes and checkpoints, homework assignment setting, a data dashboard and analytics, and PE and Sport revision series on annual subscriptions. All tiers also include a dedicated account manager and onboarding support. Higher tiers add ExamSimulator, centralised exam templates, the PE and Sport Data Centre, and the Exam Technique course.
Multi-Academy Trusts and school groups receive automatic volume discounts based on the number of schools onboarded: 10% off for 2 schools, 20% off for 3, 25% off for 4, 30% off for 5, and 35% off for 6 or more. Trusts do not need to commit to a full rollout at once and can start with a pilot in one or two schools, extend school-by-school or trust-wide, and choose which products to add over time.
Multi-year subscription discounts are also available.
Every subscription includes multi-channel support (phone, live chat, email, and video call), a dedicated account manager, fast setup and onboarding, and annual training sessions and platform CPD, so pricing includes service, not just platform access. The PE Teacher Academy remains a separately priced product from the core platform tiers, at a flat fee of £450+VAT per department for unlimited staff access, with a discount available to existing EverLearner subscribers .
