How does sAInaptic's marking algorithm work?
sAInaptic's algorithm is trained using questions and their corresponding mark schemes. Through this training, it discerns the presence or absence of concepts, as outlined in the mark scheme. This distinguishes the AI from a basic 'keyword search' approach.
The algorithm employs natural language understanding to process student answers, correct spelling mistakes, and compare concepts expressed in the answer with those in the mark scheme. The feedback generated is personalised, including a predictive score and identification of present and absent concepts in the student's answer.
Recommended Usage
Students are required to utilise sAInaptic for revision a minimum of three times a week, with each session lasting at least 20 minutes.
