What is Peerscroller?
Peerscroller is a digital platform designed to help young people navigate an online world where information is abundant, but reliable guidance is harder to find. As social media and generative AI accelerate the spread of high-engagement, low-quality content, the risk for Gen A and Gen Z is increasingly misinformation—ranging from conspiracy theories and extremist narratives to harmful trends presented as “life hacks.”
Built to meet learners where they already are, Peerscroller delivers short, TikTok-style videos presented by young people, covering the topics that matter most in their lives—such as spotting fake news, healthy relationships, digital safety, and mental health. Every video is fact-checked and mapped to trusted PSHE and safeguarding frameworks, ensuring content feels relatable and authentic without compromising accuracy.
Peerscroller is already used in schools and colleges across the UK, supporting PSHE lessons, tutor time, assemblies, and targeted interventions. The platform has also delivered campaigns on key issues including misogyny and incel culture, online safety, and wellbeing. With a mobile app that learners (and parents) can access anytime, Peerscroller helps build the habits and critical thinking needed to make informed, safe decisions.
