What is Night Zookeeper?
Night Zookeeper is an online learning program that improves children's reading and writing skills, and unlocks their creativity.
Through gamification and competition, children are encouraged to practice their grammar, spelling and composition skills. The program offers the ability to assign pre-made lessons and assignments, as well as set customised writing tasks. Subscriptions are available for use at home and in the classroom.

Recommended Usage
Students should try to use Night Zookeeper a minimum of 30 minutes a week to get the best out of the program. This will give them time to complete their weekly assignments and check feedback from their tutors.

Night Zookeeper is a web-based program, therefore any device and browser will work for the trials. The optimum environment is a 1:1 device to student ratio.

There are a number of online and offline resources available for training and familiarisation with the program, for either home or school use. These include documentation, videos, and live interactions. For schools, we do usually request that schools take part in some form of training before using the program, such as in-person workshops and online live video demos.

If a parent signs up for Night Zookeeper, they are given access to a dashboard to monitor their child’s writing, achievements, and the feedback they are receiving from our tutor team.
If a school is using Night Zookeeper, teachers can invite parents of their class to become a "Follower" of their child's progress, with the same visibility of the dashboard as a parent subscriber.
