Learnly is a diagnostic and adaptive practice platform designed for teachers, tutors, students, and parents preparing for the Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Mathematics (4MA1) qualification. Every question in the platform is mapped to a specific objective within the 4MA1 specification, covering both Foundation and Higher tiers. The tool is built to show teachers exactly where the gaps are in their class before they begin teaching a topic, so lesson planning becomes evidence-based rather than guesswork. Learnly is free forever for individual students and teachers, with no card required to get started.
The platform offers over 2,000 verified questions and more than 120 topic checkpoints, all cleared through an automated structural and mathematical verifier before being served to students. Teachers get a live class view that flags students by risk level, along with a misconceptions report that explains why recurring mistakes are happening. Every answer updates a live per-skill mastery estimate, and wrong answers are traced back to the sub-skill that caused them. Practice adapts automatically to each student and is marked without any teacher intervention, saving significant time on marking and worksheet collection.
Implementation is straightforward: a teacher or tutor creates a class, shares an 8-character code with students, and sets a goal for the term. Students join and begin practising, with every answer feeding the teacher's live dashboard. Parents receive a weekly email naming the topics their child is stuck on and the trend over time. Students can also sign up independently without a class code.
