What is Keller Education?
Keller Education is a collaborative ecosystem of education leaders dedicated to transforming the school experience for modern children. Their primary focus is on enhancing the quality of teaching and thinking in educational institutions, driven by recent neuroscience research and mind-brain education science. Keller exists to bring about a climate change in the education ecosystem, positively impacting millions of children, families, and communities. Their sustainable education methodology ensures children develop appropriate skills for the new world of work and life, positioning themselves as the change that education desperately needs.
The Keller approach offers comprehensive support through ongoing professional development, parent coaching, and teacher training delivered both face-to-face and via webinars. They provide extensive resources including digital media with the latest educational research, international best practice summaries, in-class application guidelines, class journals for students, and full teacher manuals. Their system includes an automated professional development points tracking system for SACE, opportunities for collaboration within their Teacher Education Network, novice teacher support, and school leadership coaching. Keller uniquely emphasizes play, recess, sport, creative expression, music, and physical activities as equally important to traditional academic subjects like literacy, numeracy, science, and technology.
Implementation of Keller Education in schools centers around creating a thriving ecosystem based on collaboration, coaching, and continuous professional development. Schools can engage with Keller at different partnership levels, from small steps to becoming full changemakers in the educational landscape. The approach has been met with enthusiastic feedback from educators, with principals and teachers reporting re-energized staff, improved learning environments, and practical solutions to educational challenges. Keller shares decades of experience in school start-ups, rapid growth management, teacher development, and international best practices to help schools transform their educational approach and create better spaces for children to learn and develop.
