What is Future Skills Passport?

The Future Skills Passport is a digital learning programme for UK primary schools, designed to teach Year 3 to Year 6 the twelve life skills children most need before they leave primary — Save a Life, Manage Money, Look After Their Mind, Stay Healthy, Learn Effectively, Navigate the Digital World, Speak with Confidence, Think Like an Entrepreneur, Solve Real Problems, Work as a Team, Plan Their Future, and Protect the Planet.

Each strand is delivered in three 45-minute lessons that run themselves. Pupils tap in with a class code (no surnames, no logins, no parent data) and progress through a five-phase rhythm — scene, knowledge, try-it, apply, reflect — grounded in established pedagogy: spaced retrieval, growth mindset, and metacognitive reflection. Lessons are auto-marked, and teachers receive a one-click evidence pack for PSHE folders and Ofsted inspections.

The Passport is mapped to statutory PSHE, the 2028 DfE curriculum reforms, the Gatsby Benchmarks (KS3 readiness), and the seven future skills identified by the World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs 2030 framework. The Save a Life first aid strand and Water Safety bonus module are free for any UK primary school for the full summer term.

Built by Spark2 Education, who deliver 1,800+ in-person workshops in UK primary schools every year. Pricing starts at £19/month per class or £249/year per class, with a Small School tier (£349/year, whole-school) and MAT pricing on request. No card needed for the free strands.

Yes — the Future Skills Passport is fully available for home learning at spark2.org/at-home/. A parent creates a home account in under two minutes, adds their child (first name + age + avatar only — no surnames, no contact details), and the same 25-minute lessons used in schools run independently. Save a Life and Water Safety strands are free for home learners during the summer term. From September, full Passport access is included at the home-learner pricing tier.
