What is First News Engage Pro?

The award-winning platform to support news-based learning. First News Engage Pro is a key tool for KS2 and KS3 pupils to develop reading comprehension skills and build topical knowledge with interactive exercises based on current global news.

Our online tool includes weekly comprehension, crosswords, polls, and articles based on the latest First News issues. Teachers can assign reading levels to their pupils and customise plans, giving a personalised platform to grow skills in the most applicable way.

Created to support busy teachers, Engage Pro can give immediate feedback, with the ability to self-mark everything. The dashboard provides teachers with an overview of progress, with the option to reward pupils and encourage them to work more carefully.
