Eduten Playground is used with a web browser on a reasonably modern computer, laptop or tablet. Also an active network connection is required while using the system. The software has been very easy to use, so it's sufficient for the teachers to have basic IT skills to be able to support their students.

• In many schools the weekly lesson is held in a common computer lab if the school does not offer personal devices for the students.
• When doing homework, the students use the equipment available at home.
• As for setup, as a web based software Eduten Playground doesn't require installation. Eduten will arrange a 90-minute online workshop for the teachers to train them in the value, features and usage of Eduten Playground. The teachers will then create the student accounts themselves, guided by Eduten as needed.
