To use Educake you need access to the internet. For teachers desktop access is required. Students can use Educake on a mobile device, with or without our app. To log in, teachers need an email address and password. Students need a username and password. Google and Microsoft single sign-on means it's easy to get started.

Set up is quick and easy. You can add your own classes or we’ll do it for you within an hour of receiving them. All data is imported directly to Educake to ensure it’s secure. You’ll get a shareable link for your colleagues to join you on Educake. With student single sign on, the days of your students forgetting their passwords are over. We’ll liaise with your IT department at school to get this set up for you.

Your department can be set up within 24 hours so you can create quizzes and set homework as soon as you’re ready to launch with your students.

Teachers can book a demo to get an idea of how Educake works before committing to a subscription.

Once you subscribe to Educake, we recommend booking in a departmental training session to understand the basics of Educake so you can hit the ground running. These are usually completed online but we can also come into school is you’re local to our Educake office.

After a few months of using Educake, we offer a Top Tips training session which uses teacher feedback to share best practice to make sure you’re fully utilising all the features which will benefit your department or school. As we’re continually adding new development to Educake, this is also a good opportunity to get teacher feedback to help us continue to add value to the platform.

We also have teachers videos ready to share in your CPD sessions at school plus we’re working on videos for parents and students now.

Schools get their own dedicated account manager who will work with you to ensure you get the most value from your Educake subscription.

Our team consist of ex-teachers and ed-tech professionals with many years’ experience working with schools. We’ll arrange an initial call to make sure we understand how you want to use Educake so we can tailor our support. Your account manager will be at hand throughout your subscription to make sure Educake works for you and your students.

We use a combination of live person and emails and aim to answer all queries within 30 minutes of receiving them. 96.7% of our schools say our customer support is amazing or great.

Once we have set up your classes on Educake, we will provide your students with an Educake account.

Students can easily see their homework and can retake the quiz as many times as they wish to improve their score. All student accounts contain an adaptive algorithm which creates personalised quizzes for the student.

Based on retrieval practice and spaced learning, our Revision Wizard knows everything the student has completed so can suggest recommended revision or guide the student through new topics with study guides available for some subjects.

Our study and quiz yourself area will set out the curriculum for your students as well as their progress on a topic level. This enables students to take control of their learning and revision and set themselves quizzes.

Parents can purchase Educake as an individual subscription for their child. The package is currently science, English and maths. Parents receive regular updates on the progress of their child. Educake is an affordable and convenient alternative to a tutor. This is payable monthly.
