What is Aspire?
Aspire assists students with disabilities and long-term conditions in realizing their full potential throughout their academic journey and beyond. Content can be customised for each student, taking into account disability, academic subject, chosen learning style, location, and assistive technology recommendations.
Aspire is intended to fill the gap between assistive technology and 1-2-1 student support. The portal includes resources for mental health and well-being, study skills, assistive technology training, and career-related learning. With a mobile app that delivers regular 'check-ins' and mental health support to encourage good wellbeing, the Aspire platform gives support 24/7 on any device. Students can also add additional support to their Aspire account, which allows teachers, mentors, and parents to access their platform and create tasks for the student to help with organization and time management. Aspire helps students reach their full potential.
